Welcome Students and Parents to my Webpage!  I wanted to give you a little bit of background information about my educational experience.  I graduated in 2000 from the University of Louisiana Monroe with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education. I am certified to teach both Social Studies and English Language Arts in grades 6-12.

I have been teaching for 7 years both in Ascension Parish and in EBR. This is my fourth year at Sherwood Middle Academic Magnet, and I am very excited about this school year. This year I will be teaching 7th Gr. Advanced Social Studies and 6th Gr. Study Skills. My desire is for students to be successful academically this school year. I know that by working together, students can reach their goals and strive for excellence!
