School Performance Scores are in and Sherwood Middle Academic Magnet scored well enough to be in the top 1.8% off ALL schools in the state. Sherwood ranked 23rd out of a total of 1275 public schools in the state with a score of 131.3, up approximately 9.7 over last year’s school performance score.
In East Baton Rouge parish, Sherwood ranked 6th out of approximately 70 public schools in the parish. Sherwood’s score was the highest of any middle school program in the parish and in the top 5 of true middle school programs in the entire state.
In East Baton Rouge parish the top six schools were Baton Rouge Magnet High School, LSU Laboratory School, Westdale Heights Elementary School, BRCVPA Elementary School, Forest Heights Elementary School and Sherwood Middle Academic Magnet School.
