Students and their parents meet @ the school in order for students to receive their school ID, class schedule, planner, and to pay the educational fee and purchase PE uniform. There will be other items that are optional available for sale.

Start of School. Beginning of 1st Nine Weeks.

Students will meet on the outside basketball court if the weather is nice. If it is raining, the students will meet in the gym.

The cafeteria will be open for those students who would like to eat breakfast.

Students may come out of unform if they so choose. The cost for coming out of uniform is $1. The money collected is used as a fundraiser for department needs.

Students are to wear appropriate attire. No short shorts or skirts. No revealing tops or pants. No obscene or rude messages on shirts. No political or religious themes on shirts. No hoop earrings.

If pants have belt loops students must have a belt on. No flip flop shoes or slippers. No hats or bandanas.

Basically, if you have to ask yourself 'is this appropriate' then you may want to reconsider you choice of clothes to wear.

Sherwood's Falcon Swim Team will be competing in the Parish Swim Meet. Sherwood is one of only a limited number of public schools that offer a swim team. See the Athletics folder-Swim Team for more information

Ms. Emily DeFoe is asking that parents of her choir members attend a meeting on Monday November 16th at 6pm until 7pm.

The meeting is tentatively set for either her classroom or the library but the location on campus may change. Someone will be on hand to direct you to the proper location.

Beta Club sponsoring a fundraiser. Students can choose between attending the social, Wii competition or watching a movie. Students who have had no ID violations will get to make their choices first. As events get booked up they will be closed to anymore students. Social cannot be entirely booked up, so it will remain open for all students.

$2 fee to attend any of the events. Once in an event the student cannot leave to go to another event.
