Here is a great opportunity for you to financially help our school purchase much needed supplies and resources. And the great thing about it is that you don't have to do much different than you are already doing.
Several businesses provided opportunities for their customers to give back to the school of their choice from purchases that they have made.
One such business is Target Stores. If you already use a debit card you know how convenient they are. Target offers their own Debit Card that you can use in their stores. There is no fee for the card and for any purchases you make with the card they will take 1% of it (minus the taxes) and donate it to Sherwood.
It is easy to sign up for and easy to use.

(When you get to the site, look on the right side. You will see a promotion for a 'Red Card.' Click it and you will be taken to the web page to sign up. We recommend you sign up for the CHECK CARD and not the Credit Card.)
Once you get your card in the mail, you can go online and designate the school of your choice, in this case Sherwood Middle School. (That is the name you will search and choose. They don't have us listed as Sherwood Middle Academic Magnet)
Right now there are only 9 families using this tool as a way of supporting our school.
Last year, up until March '09 Sherwood received $317. We have almost $100 coming our way for the next disbursement.
Imagine what 200, 400, or even 500 families could do?
