Ms. Noel is one of two Assistant Principals at Sherwood Middle. She is starting her 11^th year at Sherwood. For eight years she was the 8^th grade Reading teacher. When Sherwood became a magnet school, she went on to spend three years as the Magnet Lead Teacher. This year she is entering into her third year as Assistant Principal. Prior to coming to Sherwood, Ms. Noel spent four years teaching at E.J. Gay Middle in Plaquemine.

Ms. Noel is certified to teach English in grades 7-12 and is a certified reading specialist for grades 1-12.

She holds a master’s degree in both Curriculum and Instruction for Reading and Administration and Supervision. She is also a Educational Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction for Reading
