Hello, welcome to my web page.  I'm Mr Segura and I love math.  The greatest thing about math is it is everywhere.  From sports to money, examples abound and we will discover them together. 

Check the web site daily for updates on homework and any interesting math facts.  We will have homework every night, so make sure you keep up with it.  As I think homework reinforces what we learned in class, I want everyone to diligently work all of the problems.  With this in mind, I give 2 bonus points to the entire class if everyone does their homework on the same day!

We are continuing LEAP/iLEAP prep.  All of the students are getting passwords for Louisiana Eagle (www.louisianaeagle.org) and they have made passwords for Louisiana Pass (www.louisianapass.org). Both of these web sites are great resources for the students' preparation for LEAP and iLEAP.  We are finishing Unit 6 which is all about patterns...seeing what is happening consistently.  The Test will be next Thurs/Fri.  They received their study guides on 17/18 Mar.
