Homework is packet on machines and labeling different types of machines. Homework is not due until Monday for B day and Tuesday for A day.

Required Materials:
Complete handouts on work and work calculations. Bring pictures of simple machines to class. Pictures should all fit on "one" page. Six simple machines are lever, screw, inclined plane, wedge, pulley, wheel and axle.

A Day: Unit 5 Edusoft exams on Enery/Waves. Please study notes that were sent home last Thursday. Vocabulary Test on Wednesday, words 151-175. Introduction to Unit 6, Sound and Light waves.
B Day: Unit 5 Edusoft exam on Tuesday. Honor roll students will make up test on Thursday. Study notes for energy that were sent home on Friday. Vocabulary test on Thursday, 161-175.

Career day for 8th grade on Friday morning, so 1A will not meet that day. 4A will work on Leap review that afternoon.
