First of all, let me say what a privilege it is to step into the classroom with my students. They impress me everyday with their wit and wisdom. I am also learning during each and every moment spent with them. Thank you for this opportunity.

I believe a good education is as system of opportunities for students through which they build the foundational skills of an intellectual, ethical, aesthetic, and physically fit life that they can both use in the present day as student citizens. A good education enables students to develop and transfer their knowledge to their future as global citizens and productive members of their local community.
